Why Study Astronomy?

Astronomy seeks to reveal the ever-unfolding origin story of everything. The grand mysteries that torture the curious human mind are revealed through the study of astronomy. It breaks the barriers of discovery and motivates us to look further, go further, and be limitless in our evolution and adaption. Astronomy suceeds in instilling curiousity and wonder in the place of violence and destruction. It is a humbling science with real evidence behind the existance of humankind from the death of stars. The universe ponders it's own existance through every nerve that creates your consiousness.
Now wipe away your tears. Lets talk about science.

Science is the act of testing the THINGS! First we begin by looking at the stuff, then we do THE SCIENCES on it. Ask the question! Do some research! Have a thought! Do the testing! Did you get an answer? Great! DO MORE TESTING! STARE AT YOUR HARD WORK! Does it match all the other things? Tell your mom or the president! You can start with SIMPLE questions like: "Am I in bed right now?" "What am I eating?!" "Is there an Omnipotent, omnipresent, all-powerful, Universe-creating, wrathful God who both died for our sins, and is also his own immortal father?" What's Up There?

Stars, planets, and moons can't be the only thing up there, you say? What a scientist you are! Our universe is home to cosmic mothers and star graveyards! It has it all: massive swirling black space toilets, zombie stars, mysterious invisible garden gnomes adding extra patches of space into the universe, galactic cannibalism, the *opposite* of matter, Red stuff, blue stuff, hot stuff, cool stuff, a crazy fat ball of nuetrons, like a zillion stars blowing up at the same time, rainbows, *possibly* unicorns, a space toilet that makes stuff move real fast and it's the brightest thing EVER, more invisible garden gnomes but this time they do a thing with gravity, star guts, objects in motion (that stay in motion unless acted upon) and saving the most BORING for last: all of humanity!
